ON THE EIGHTH DAY OF CHRISTMAS

On the eighth day of Christmas, feeling playful and young,

Stores were sparkling, and Christmas songs sung.

I wrapped up some bargains with colourful bows,

And rung up the joy as the Christmas spirit grows!

THE JOY

There’s something undeniably joyful about getting gifts wrapped – whether you are the giver, the receiver, or just watching the festive magic happen.  The crinkle of paper, the sparkle of ribbons, and the anticipation of what’s inside still bring a sense of childlike wonder that never gets old

And don’t forget the finishing touches: name tags, stickers, and candy canes tucked into the ribbon. It’s not just about beautiful packages –   it’s these little extras that turn even a simple package into a memory.

So next time you are in the midst of Christmas shopping, take a moment to enjoy the gift wrapping experience from our Christmas helpers – Volunteering Waikato.  It’s all about the shared smiles, the festive energy in the air, and the joy of giving (or receiving) a little surprise wrapped with love!

Always a reason!
