Iain Spanhake, who goes by the artist name Enox is a New Zealand artist, designer and illustrator.
“I describe my work as a mix of urban contemporary and pop art which is inspired by a range of mediums, such as graffiti art, pop culture, 80’s cartoons and Japanese kawaii characters. What I am for when creating my art is to inspire others, bring about positivity, and just for a moment to take their minds off the stresses of life and enjoy the energy and positivity of the characters I create.”
“I work mainly in digital illustration either within Procreate or Fresco apps, and I also work in mixed mediums on canvas and wood. I’ve also worked on outdoor murals such as the Boon Street Art Festival and gallery shows here in Hamilton, New Zealand.”
