Centre Place car park is accessed via Bryce Street.

Opening hours

Monday to Friday: 6.00am – 12.30am
Saturday: 7.00am – 12.30am
Sunday: 8.00am – 12.30am
Please note: The car park is open later with midnight premiere screenings at the cinemas.

Parking rates Monday - Sunday

Up to one hour: FREE
Half hour charge thereafter: $ 2.00 (Or part thereof)
Maximum daily charge: $50.00
All day parking available when pre-booked prior to entering the car park. See details below.

Cinema customers receive four hours free parking:
  • You must register your license plate at the cinema iPad station.
  • This cannot be done at the pay stations.
  • Not available for HCC Garden Place car park.

Ticketless parking - how to use

Licence plate recognition parking operating in Centre Place car park. You do not receive a ticket on entry, simply drive in.
  • Enter your licence plate into a pay station kiosk when you are ready to leave.
  • Receive ONE HOUR FREE parking, 7 days a week.
  • Follow the onscreen prompts to pay for any balance due.
  • If you haven't paid before you get to the vehicle exit, then park in the 2-minute parking bay and return to the centre to pay.
  • Warning: Failure to pay for parking may result in a breach notice of $65.00.

Pay Stations

Pay Stations are located inside the centre near the lifts:
  • Ground floor
  • Level 1
EFTPOS is available at the ground floor pay station only.

Accessible parking

Accessible parks are located on levels 2A, 3A, 4A and 5A in Centre Place car park building. Parent parks are on levels 2A and 3A in Centre Place car park building. Levels designated “A” provide direct lift access.

EV charging

Electric vehicle (EV) charging is available on Level 1B
  • 3 x Type 1 (J1772) chargers
  • 3 x Type 2 (Mennekes) chargers

All day parking

All day parking MUST be booked and paid online BEFORE you enter the car park.

  • All day parking is available from level 5A and above.
  • Numbers are limited.
  • $10.00 per day Monday to Sunday.

Garden Place car park

We no longer validate tickets for this car park. Garden Place Car Park is owned by Hamilton City Council.
