No Tears on the Field is a Q & A Screening and is an inspiring New Zealand feature documentary that explores the rise of women's grassroots rugby in the Taranaki region.
Filmed over two years, the documentary follows local female players from the Clifton and Southern Rugby Clubs, offering a raw, emotional, and often humorous look at their lives both on and off the pitch.
It showcases the intense, physical, and fast-growing world of women's club rugby in rural New Zealand, featuring appearances by Black Ferns Sevens superstar Michaela Blyde and other local rugby legends.
Beyond the sport the film explores themes of sisterhood, resilience, whanau and breaking barriers in a traditionally male-dominated environment.
